Founded in 1977, the New Art Center is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to artistic creation and education through classes, exhibitions and public programs. At NAC, we nurture children's creativity, encourage emerging artists, develop teaching and performing opportunities, engage the community with new and important exhibitions, and provide a foundation for lifelong learning and art appreciation. The New Art Center makes its home in an old stone church built in 1873. Our center supports a dynamic and vital community of practicing artists, art students and art lovers through art classes for ages 2 and up, after school enrichment and vacation programs, exhibitions, special events and workshops.
