Newton Art Association

The Newton Art Association (NAA) was organized over fifty years ago with the purpose of stimulating and encouraging the expression of fine arts in Newton. With upwards of 100 members, the NAA regularly presents programs featuring demonstrations by outstanding New England artists. These evening programs are open to the public and are held at the Newton Senior Center, 345 Walnut Street in Newtonville, on the second Thursday of each month, from October through May. The Association also sponsors critiques, exhibits, lectures, and workshops throughout the year. All activities are open to those who would like to participate. Every Spring, the NAA presents scholarships to selected high school seniors in Newton who are planning to continue their art education after graduation.
