The Suzuki School of Newton is a non-profit, non-sectarian, independent, co-educational organization. It is our goal to instill in children at an early age a love and respect for music which will enrich them throughout their lives. Based upon the teaching philosophy of Dr. Shinichi Suzuki, our music instruction helps develop musicians and build self-respect, self-confidence and a capacity for self-discipline. We involve teachers, students and parents in a learning triangle that nurtures love of learning and builds learning skills. The Suzuki School of Newton, is funded, in part, by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency which supports the arts, humanities and sciences.Suzuki School of Newton, Inc.
